Top Muskoka Wineries & Breweries to Add to Your Weekend Getaway
Hey friends, Katie here! One of the best ways to enjoy Muskoka is by pairing the peaceful charm of our stays with local sips and tastings. Whether you're visiting The Willow or The Jypsy Inn, here are five of my favourite wineries and breweries—perfect for a relaxed afternoon or evening with a view.
1) Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery
This charming farm winery is part cranberry field, part wine-tasting haven. Their fruit-forward wines—especially the blueberry and cranberry offerings—are deeply rooted in Muskoka’s flavours, and come with the added magic of seasonal wagon tours and vineyard strolls. Open almost all year round, it’s a must-stop, particularly when autumn starts to paint the landscape in red and gold.

2) Sawdust City Brewing Co.
Right by that giant yellow Muskoka chair, you can’t miss this spot. A visit here is as iconic as it gets. Known for their craft brews, Sawdust City is ideal for an early afternoon pint or flight alongside hearty pub fare. And not only is the beer delicious but the food is incredible too!

Katie’s Tip for the Weekend
While not a brewery, the iconic Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst makes a perfect starting point before heading to wineries or breweries. Stroll the waterfront, visit farmers' markets, or even catch a steamship cruise for a true Muskoka twist. From there, you can head to the wineries or breweries with the day’s charm firmly underway.
